What an opening week. 2-0 against 2 formidable opponents. 46-15 against Eastland and 65-16 against Altamonte was impressive, but that could be a mere smoke screen. We already started experiencing chemistry issues. With three dynamic Alpha players, egos and attitudes already reared its ugly head. I have to go the "Phil Jackson" route, and find a way to mold these three stars, together within a team structure. I offered a few Phil quotes, that offered a temporary truce. Two of  quotes are "The strength of the team is each individual member, and the strength of each member is the team". "Good teams become great ones when the members trust each other enough to surrender the ME for the WE". As we go through the Thanksgiving holidays, we have to prepare for the defending state champions, Real Life Academy. They have the co- mvp, and a phenomenal run. They are also undefeated this year. We will prepare to face this juggernaut with a ton of defensive schemes, and a slight change to the offense. Will we be ready? Will I get my team to be on the same page? Will I be able to change my top player's mindset? Will I be able to develop my bench? So many questions, not sure of the answers yet. I will be back for an update after Dec. 3rd.
